Staunton is conveniently located near two regional airports, the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport (SHD) and Charlottesville International Airport (CHO). Campers and their families may easily connect to these airports and use a rental car service from Staunton. We are happy to help arrange airport pick-ups for campers traveling alone, however transportation is limited to driver availability. Additional fees apply for airport pick-ups from Shenandoah, Charlottesville, Dulles International, or Richmond International airports. Please contact Adrienne Johnson to arrange an airport pick-up for your camper. Overnight dorm fees apply for campers arriving a day early or staying a day late.
Staunton offers many accommodation options for parents who would like to stay an extra night at the beginning or end of each camp session. The Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center is conveniently located adjacent to the Blackfriars Playhouse. The Frederick House is a charming bed and breakfast located across the street from Mary Baldwin University. We highly recommend that parents book their rooms for the final weekend of camp at the time they register.
